L-G VK Saxena gives nod to fill 13013 vacancies in Delhi Police

After the decisive push by Delhi LG, VK Saxena, 13,013 posts in various junior ranks of the Delhi Police will be filled by permanent recruits by July 2024.

Saxena had, in a series of meetings issued directions to fill up the vacant positions following due process and with directions that a sufficient number of female candidates be selected for various positions, added the statement.
Accordingly, vacancies were advertised and written exams, PE&MT, typing tests were conducted. These posts are to be filled in a phased manner between December 2023 and July 2024.
418 technical posts of Photographer, Draftsman, Store Clerk, Fitter, Mast Lasker, MT Helper, MT Storeman, Statistician, Assistants, Radio Technician and Workshop Hands, etc. in various ranks that require trade/skill tests to be conducted, are also being filled.
In addition to this, 840 Multi-Tasking Staff are also being filled.
Of the recruitments being made by the SSC, 11,214 are in different stages of being filled up and 1799 vacancies are to be advertised soon for recruitment.
