KMC recruitment 2021: Kolkata Municipal Corporation jobs alert! Notification released for 326 vacancies in medical field

KMC recruitment 2021: Kolkata Municipal Corporation has released a notification for the recruitment of 326 Medical Officer and Staff Nurse Posts, the official website mentioned. 

The KMC recruitment 2021 vacant posts are on a regular or part-time basis. Candidates who are interested can apply for the vacant posts on the official website of KMC, kmc.gov.in. 

The walk-in-interview for the post of regular Medical officer is on May 17 and for the part-time Medical Officer part-time on May 24, however, the date of interview for Staff Nurse posts to be announced soon, mentions the notification available on the KMC website. 

Of total 326 medical officer posts, 50 are for Medical officer (regular), 71 vacancies for Medical Officer (part-time), and Kolkata Municipal Corporation requires 205 Staff Nurse, the notification mentions. 

The interview date for the post of Staff Nurse is yet to be released. Candidates must go through the eligibility criteria before applying for the vacancy. 

The candidates will be selected based on their performance in the interview. They must also fulfill the eligibility criteria as follow: 

For the post of MO, the candidate should be an MBBS from MCI recognized institute. 

For the post of Staff Nurse, the candidate must have a completion certificate of GNM training course from Indian Nursing Council / West Bengal Nursing Council recognized institutes.

The candidates must check the venue and other details on the notification. Selected candidates for Medical Officer Posts will get Rs. 60,000 per month, for Medical Officer part-time posts will get Rs.  24,000 per month and for Staff nurse posts will get Rs. 25,000 per month.
