Kerala KTET 2022: Registration begins on ktet.kerala.gov.in - Check eligibility and important dates
Candidates can submit online applications from October 25, 2022.
The Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test, examination dates have been released on the official website, ktet.kerala.gov.in. Candidates who are interested can visit the official website to apply. The examination will be conducted in 2 shifts for 2.5 hours each.
KTET Examination: Important dates
- Candidates can submit online applications from October 25, 2022. Candidates note that the link to apply will be activated on October 25, 2022.
- The last date to apply is on November 7, 2022.
- KTET 2022 admit card can be downloaded from the website from November 21 onward.

KTET 2022 Eligibility criteria
For Category 1: Classes 1 to 5
Equivalent to at least 45% marks with two years Trained Teacher Certificates by TTC Examination Board.
Candidates must have at least 45% marks with 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE Regulation 2002.
Candidates must have at least 50% marks with Diploma in Education.
For Category 2: Class 6 to 8
BA/B.Com/BSc- 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education/TTC with 45% Marks
BA/B.Com/BSc with 45% marks and must have 1-year B.Ed.
Secondary / Higher Secondary with 50% marks and 4 years of BEIEd (Bachelor of Elementary Education)
Secondary / Higher Secondary with 50% marks and 4 years of BA / B.Ed./ B.Sc.Ed
For Category 3: Class 9 to 10
BA/B.Com/B.Sc with 45% marks and B.Ed. from a recognized university.
Candidates who want to apply in Zoology, Chemistry, Botany, Mathematics, and Physics must have 50% marks from a regional institution graded by NCERT.
