The Indian Army begun recruitment under NCC Special Entry Scheme 49th Course (April 2021): Short Service Commission (NT) For Men & Women. The exercise began after it invited application from unmarried male and unmarried female (including Wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel), for grant of Short Service Commission in the Indian Army. The Indian Army Recruitment 2021 drive begun from January 8. Interested candidates willing to apply online for India Army NCC Recruitment 2021 on joinindianarmy.nic.in on or before January 28.
As many as 55 candidates are to be recruited under NCC Special Entry Scheme 49th Course (APR 2021). Vacancies. As many as 50 (45 for General Category and 05 for Wards of Battle Casualties of Army personnel only) have been reserved for NCC Men, while 5 posts have been set aside for NCC Women. IN women category, four candidates will be selected from General category and one from Wards of Battle Casualties of Army personnel only).

Candidates must note that they can appear for only one of the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview, either SSC (NT)-113 Course (Apr 2021) /SSC (NT) (Women)-27 Course (Apr 2021) as CDSE candidate OR NCC (Spl) Entry-49 Course (Apr 2021). Candidates are required to give an undertaking to this effect under the declaration part of the online application.
Age limit for NCC candidates, including wards of Battle Casualties, is 19 to 25 years as on January 1, 2021. The candidates should have born not earlier than January 2, 1996, and not later than January 1 2002.
Educational qualification for NCC 'C' certificate holders:
Degree of a recognised university or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50 percent marks taking into account marks of all the years. Those studying in the final year are also allowed to apply provided they have secured a minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks in the first two/three years of three/four years degree course respectively. Such students will need to secure an overall aggregate of a minimum of 50 percent marks in degree course if selected in interview, failing which their candidature will be cancelled.
Educational qualification for Wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel:
Degree of a recognised university or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50 per cent marks taking into account marks of all the years.
