IAF AFCAT Recruitment 2022: Indian Air Force has released the IAF AFCAT 2023 recruitment notification. Candidates who are interested can fill out the application form by December 30, 2022.

IAF has notified a total of 258 vacancies for the Flying, Ground Duty (Tech) and Ground Duty (Non-Tech) in the men and women categories. The online AFCAT examination will be conducted on 24 February to 26 February 2023.

IAF AFCAT Recruitment 2022: Types of commission  

(i) The engagement period for Flying Branch (Men and Women) SSC Officers is fourteen years from the date of Commissioning.  

(ii) The initial tenure for Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) SSC Officers would be for a period of ten years. An extension of four years may be granted subject to service requirements, availability of vacancies, willingness, suitability and merit.

 (iii) Grant of Permanent Commission (PC, at a later date) would be considered subject to service requirements, availability of vacancies, willingness, suitability, merit and as per prevailing policies on the subject.  

(iv) SSC officers are not entitled for grant of pension.

IAF AFCAT Recruitment 2022: Examination fee

The examination fee of Rs. 250/- (non-refundable) for AFCAT entry (not applicable for NCC special entry) may be paid online through the ‘Make Payment’ step on the main menu of the online application.

IAF AFCAT Recruitment 2022: Steps to apply  

Step 1: Visit the official website of IAF, afcat.cdac.in

Step 2: Click on the IAF AFCAT (1) registration link and move to the next page

Step 3: Choose new registration or already registered and fill up the form to sign up. Sign in with a registered email id and a system-generated password.

Step 4: Fill out the application form with personal details.

Step 5: Fill in the qualification details.

Step 6: Upload all the information required — signature, and thumb impressions.

Step 7: Pay the IAF AFCAT application fee in online mode 

Step 8: Submit the application form.
