The admit cards for the CTET July 2024 examination will be available online on the official CTET website two days before the exam. Candidates should regularly check the CTET official website for updates.

Steps to download the admit card

1. Visit the official website of CTET. (https://ctet.nic.in).
2. Click on the "CTET July 2024 admit card" link.
3. Log in with your credentials.
4. Your admit card will appear on the screen.
5. Download and print a clear copy for admission into the exam hall.

What to do in case of discrepancies

If there are any discrepancies in the e-admit card, such as incorrect personal details, photograph, or signature, candidates must immediately contact the CTET for necessary corrections.

What is CTET?

The CTET is a qualifying exam for teachers in India, aimed at ensuring high standards of teaching quality in schools. It assesses the aptitude and teaching abilities of candidates for Classes I to VIII. The exam is divided into two papers:

-Paper I: For candidates who wish to teach classes I to V
  - Structure and content:
    - Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 MCQs, 30 Marks
    - Mathematics: 30 MCQs, 30 Marks
    - Environmental Studies: 30 MCQs, 30 Marks
    - Language I: 30 MCQs, 30 Marks
    - Language II: 30 MCQs, 30 Marks
  - Total: 150 MCQs, 150 Marks

-Paper II: For candidates who wish to teach classes VI to VIII
  - Structure and content:
    - Child Development & Pedagogy: 30 MCQs, 30 Marks
    - Mathematics and Science (for Mathematics and Science teachers): 60 MCQs, 60 Marks
    - Social Studies/Social Science (for Social Studies/Social Science teachers): 60 MCQs, 60 Marks
    - Language I: 30 MCQs, 30 Marks
    - Language II: 30 MCQs, 30 Marks
  - Total: 150 MCQs, 150 Marks

Exam day instructions

Candidates must adhere to the following instructions on the day of the examination:
- Reporting time: Arrive at the examination center by 7:30 AM for Paper II and 12:00 PM for Paper I. Candidates arriving after 9:30 AM for Paper II and after 2:00 PM for Paper I will not be permitted to enter the exam hall.
- Admit card: You must show the admit card downloaded from the CTET website for admission into the examination room. Without a valid Admit Card, entry will be denied.
- Identity verification: During the examination, invigilators will check the admit card to verify each candidate's identity.
