Indian Army Recruitment Rally 2021: The central and state governments and respective state boards and concerned institutions have been either cancelling or postponing all major exams amid spiraling Covid 19 cases. From CBSE Class 10, NEET PG to almost all major state board exams, all of them have been either cancelled or deferred. A few exams still scheduled are very likely to be deferred or cancelled too as India witnessed its highest single-day Covid 19 cases on Friday, May 7. At 4.14 Lakh Fresh Covid Cases, this is the highest daily surge in Corona cases in the last 24 hours. India also saw record 3,915 deaths in one day.

Meanwhile, keeping safety of candidates in mind, the Indian Army Recruitment 2021 rally has also been postponed. Indian Army has cancelled recruitment rally scheduled to be held in Rajasthan—Jaipur and Jodhpur. The common entrance exam was to be held on May 30, 2021.

"Common entrance exam for Army Recruitment to be held at Jaipur and Jodhpur for rally and medically fit candidates scheduled on 30 May 2021 stands postponed owing to COVID 19 situation," said news agency ANI quoting Defence PRO, Rajasthan.  

Common entrance exam for the post of Soldier General Duty, Soldier Technical, Soldier Nursing Assistant, Soldier Clerk and Store Keeper Technical, Soldier Tradesman (All Arms) 10th Pass were also cancelled earlier for the same reason.  

Meanwhile, CBSE class 12 students have been demanding to cancel the exams and promote them to next class on the same line as it was done for Class 10 students. Recently, PMO has also said that NEET PG 2021 exam will be postponed for at least four months and medical students will be pressed into Covid 19 duty.
