NIT Jalandhar recruitment 2020: Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, has invited online applications for 93 non-teaching staff at the institute.  The institute aims to recruit Technical Assistant, SAS Assistant, Junior Engineer, Senior Technician, Technician, Junior Assistant, Senior Assistant, Stenographer, Senior stenographer and Office Attendant through this drive.

Knowledge of computer applications in all above posts is necessary and institute may conduct separate computer test for assessing computer proficiency of the candidates. Candidates who wish to apply for more than one post should apply separately for each post in the prescribed manner and separate application with requisite fee must be submitted for each post.  The candidates selected will be paid salary in pay grade level 1, 3,4,5 and 6.

JUNIOR ASSISTANT: 13 posts

SENIOR ASSISTANT: 6 posts 

Salary: Level – 4 (Rs.25500-81100) 

STENOGRAPHER: 2 posts

Level – 5 (Rs.29,200-92,300) 

OFFICE ATTENDANT: 9 posts 

Level – 1 (Rs18,000-56,900) 

Age and relaxation 

The candidates appearing for these exams should be of minimum 18 years and maximum of 30 years age. Age is relaxable for SC/ST candidates up to 5 years and up to 3 years for OBC candidates in respect of vacancies reserved for them.

Candidates belonging to UR/OBC/EWS category are required to pay nonrefundable application fee of Rs 500 and the same shall be paid through online mode only (debit/credit card/net banking). There will be no application fee for SC/ST/PH/Women candidates.
