7th Pay Commission Latest News: Punjab Police Sub Inspector Admit Card 2021: The candidates willing to appear for the Punjab Police Sub Inspector (SI) Exam must note that the Punjab Police Sub Inspector Admit Card 2021 has been released on August 11, 2021. The candidates who will be appearing for the exam should note that the pay for the post of Sub-Inspector has been fixed at Rs 35,400 (minimum pay admissible) at Level 6 of 7th CPC/Pay Matrix on the recommendations of in-house Finance Department.

The candidates must note that they can download their admit cards by logging in to the official website of Punjab Police at punjabpolice.gov.in.

Total Vacancies: The candidates appearing for the posts of Punjab Police Sub Inspector must note that there is a total number of 560 vacancies. The beak up of the vacancies are as follows:

1) District Police cadre: Total vacancies of Sub-Inspectors – 87

2) Armed Police Cadre: Total vacancies of Sub-Inspectors – 97

3) Intelligence Cadre: Total vacancies of Intelligence Officers – 87

4) Investigation Cadre: Total vacancies of Sub-Inspectors – 289

7th CPC Pay Matrix: Pay scale: The candidates appearing for Punjab Police SI Exam 2021 must note that the pay for the post of Sub-Inspector has been fixed at Rs 35,400 (minimum pay admissible) at Level 6 of 7th CPC/Pay Matrix on the recommendations of in-house committee of Finance Department.

Selection Process: The Punjab Police SI candidates must remember that the selection process will be a two stage process consisting of the following tests:

Stage 1 - Computer Based Test consisting of two multiple choice question papers to be conducted on the same day.

Stage 2 - 1) Document Scrutiny

2) Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

3) Physical Screening Test (PST)

Results: The Punjab Police SI candidates must note that the results will be uploaded on the recruitment portal of the and the official website of the Punjab Police at punjabpolice.gov.in.
