7th Pay Commission: Good news for job hunters! The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) has started inviting applications for 65 vacancies for the posts of Senior Technical Officer (STO) as per 7th cpc matrix. The interested candidates can all the information at the official website of ASRB at asrb.org.in.

There is a total number of 65 vacancies for the posts of Senior Technical Officer (STO). The online application has commenced from April 5, 2021 and will continue till April 25, 2021.

7th Pay Commission pay: The Senior Technical Officer (STO) (T-6) of Indian Council of Agricultural
Research (ICAR) will be appointed in the in the Pay Band – 3 of Rs 15,600 – Rs 39,100 with GP of Rs 5400/- (revised Pay Level 10 - Rs 56,100 - Rs 1,77,500 of the 7th CPC), based on the Institute of their choice opted while filling the online application.

Age limit: A candidate seeking admission to the STO examination must have attained the
age of 21 years but not have attained the age of 35 years as on April 25, 2021.

Educational qualification: An interested candidate must hold a master's degree or equivalent in the concerned discipline with specialization in order to apply for the post.

The interested candidates must note that the ASRB STO exam will be conducted from June 21 to June 27, 2021.

The selection for post of ASRB STO will be based on online computer-based test (CBT) and interview.
