Varanasi Delhi Vande Bharat Train: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has flagged the second Vande Bharat Express train between Varanasi and New Delhi in Varanasi on Monday (December 18, 2023). The inaugural run from Varanasi to New Delhi will take place on Monday. However, the regular operation of the Vande Bharat Express is scheduled to commence on December 20, 2023.

The Northern Railway, with its press statement, also shared a photo of the train in saffron colour. Besides, the NR said: "The train has superior passenger amenities such as onboard Wi-Fi infotainment, GPS-based passenger information system, plush interiors, bio-vacuum toilets with touch-free conveniences, diffused LED lighting, charging points beneath every seat, individual touch-based reading lights and concealed roller blinds." "It has better heat ventilation and air-conditioning system with UV lamp for germ-free supply of air. The intelligent air-conditioning system adjusts the cooling according to the climate conditions/occupancy," the statement said.

The new Vande Bharat is going to provide a lot of comfort to the people travelling between New Delhi and Varanasi. The new Vande Bharat train will leave from Varanasi for New Delhi at 6 am, and in return, it will leave Delhi at 3 pm. Currently, the existing Vande Bharat train (22436) running between New Delhi and Varanasi leaves New Delhi at 6 am and reaches Varanasi at 2 pm via Kanpur and Prayagraj. Whereas, in return, this train leaves Varanasi at 3 pm and reaches New Delhi at 11 pm via Prayagraj and Kanpur.

The ticket booking of the new Vande Bharat Express train between Varanasi and New Delhi railway station will commence from Monday onwards.
