Vande Bharat Express Train Chennai to Mysuru Timings, Route, Travel Time, Stops: Trains passengers in southern India will soon get to travel in the Vande Bharat Express train. According to Indian Railways, this will be the fifth Vande Bharat Express and will run on the Chennai-Bengaluru-Mysuru route. The train is slated to start the journey on November 11 and will take 6 hours and 40 minutes to cover the distance of 497 km.

Meanwhile, Indian Railways has successfully conducted the trial run of the Chennai-Bengaluru-Mysuru Vande Bharat Express. The trial run of the to-be-launched train was conducted from Chennai's MG Ramachandran Central Railway station. Once introduced, Chennai-Bengaluru-Mysuru Vande Bharat Express will be the first semi-high-speed service from southern India.

Vande Bharat Express Train Chennai-Bengaluru-Mysuru will cover this route: Chennai Central, Bengaluru City and Mysuru Junction. Between these stations, it will cross Perambur, Veppampattu, Katpadi Junction, Gudupalli and Malur.

Chennai-Bengaluru-Mysuru Vande Bharat Express will run six days a week - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Vande Bharat Express will commence its journey from Chennai Central at 05:50 am and reach Bengaluru City Junction at 10:25 am. Between these two stations, it will cover a distance of 359 km. The train will halt for 5 minutes at the junction and will depart at 10:30 am. It will then reach the destination station - Mysuru Junction - at 12:30 pm by covering a distance of 137.6 km.

On the return journey, Vande Bharat Express will depart from Mysuru Junction at 1:05 pm and will reach Bengaluru City Junction at 2:55 pm. After a halt of 5 minutes, the train will depart from Bengaluru City Junction at 3:00 pm. It will cover a distance  359 km to reach the destination - Chennai Central - at 7:35 pm.
