Indian Railways cancelled trains today list, December 24, IRCTC refund: Indian Railways has fully cancelled 243 trains today, December 24, due to fog, poor visibility, and other reasons. This includes Chandigarh to Amritsar Junction (CDG-ASR SUPERFAST) and New Delhi (NDLS) to Kanpur Central (NDLS-CNB SHATABDI). Apart from this, several other trains were running late or slow due to foggy and poor visibility conditions in North India.
The Railway Department has also source-changed 30 trains and diverted 31 trains on Saturday. Additionally, 29 trains have been rescheduled by the national transporter including Bengaluru to Howrah YPR-HWH SUPERFAST EXPRESS.

To check the status of the train, passengers need to visit the official website of the National Train Enquiry System at enquiry - indianrail.gov.in/mntes/.
Now search for the option of "Exceptional Trains" available on the right side of the homepage - click on it. Now click on 'Train Exception Info'. Enter the Train Number. Now, you can easily check the exceptional details of a train.
Here is how you may apply for the ticket refund
Passengers having online tickets will get full refunds in the source account while those having counter tickets will have to visit the reservation centre to claim the refund.
