Train cancellations: More than a dozen trains cancelled; timings of these trains have also been changed

Train cancellation and reschedule list

The Kharagpur Railway Division has cancelled many trains between April 18 and 20 as developmental work is going on at different locations along the route. Apart from that, the timings of many trains have also been changed. Passengers travelling through cities like Udaipur, Hyderabad, Bhuvneshwar, and Puri will be affected by the cancelled trains and changed train timings. South Western Railways informed about the cancellation and changed timing of the train through a tweet. 

Train cancellation list

These trains have been cancelled between April 17-20: 

According to the tweet from South Western Railway, the Bhuvneshwar-Howrah-Bhubaneswar Janshatabdi Express (12074/12073) train, scheduled to depart on April 17 has been cancelled.

The Puri-Howrah-Puri Shatabdi Express (12278/1277) train, scheduled to run on April 17 and 20, has also been cancelled.

Apart from these, Hyderabad-Shalimar East Coast Express (18046) has also been cancelled. Shalimar-Hyderabad East Coast Express (18045) has also been cancelled on April 17, 19, and 20, 2023.   

Train rescheduling list

These trains will be rescheduled or short terminate:  

Jajpur K Road-Kharagpur Express (18038), scheduled for April 17, will short-terminate in Dantan.

Khurda Road-Kharagpur Express (18022), which will run on April 18, will also short terminate in Dantan.

Shalimar-Puri Garib Rath Express (12881), which was scheduled to begin its journey on April 18 at 8:45 PM has been rescheduled to 9:45 PM the same day.

Shalimar-Udaipur Express (20972), which was scheduled to start its journey on April 16 at 8:20 PM will depart at 9:50 PM on the same day.
