Summer Special Trains: There is a good news for travellers returning home after Holi! To reduce the extra rush of passengers, Central Railway has decided to run 156 summer special train services between Mumbai and various destinations in UP and Bihar. With this, passengers will be able to easily get confirmed berths in trains, and crowding in trains can also be controlled.

LTT-Banaras Weekly Special (26 Trips)

- 01053 Weekly Special will depart from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 12:15 hrs every Wednesday from April 03 to June 26 (13 trips) and arrive at Varanasi at 16:05 hrs the next day.

- 01054 Weekly Special will leave Banaras at 20:30 hrs every Thursday from April 4 to June 27 (13 trips) and arrive at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 23:55 hrs the next day.

Halts: Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Pipariya, Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Jeonathpur, and Varanasi

Composition: One AC First Class, Two AC-2 Tier, 6 AC-3 Tier, 8 Sleeper Class, 3 Second Seating Chair Car, 1 Guard’s brake van, and 1 Generator Car.

LTT-Danapur Bi-Weekly Special (52 trips)

- 01409 Bi-weekly Special will depart from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 12:15 hrs every Monday and Saturday from April 01 to June 29 (26 trips) and will arrive at Danapur at 17:00 hrs the next day.

- 01410 Bi-weekly Special will leave Danapur at 18:15 hrs every Tuesday and Sunday from April 2 to June 30 (26 trips) and will arrive at the Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 23:55 hrs the next day.

Halts: Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Pipariya, Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki,  Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn, Buxar, and Ara.

Composition: One AC First Class, Two AC-2 Tier, 6 AC-3 Tier, 8 Sleeper Class, 3 Second Seating Chair Car, 1 Guard’s brake van, and 1 Generator Car.

LTT-Samastipur Weekly Special (26 trips)

- 01043 Weekly Special will leave the Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 12:15 hrs every Thursday from April 4 to June 27 (13 trips) and will arrive at Samastipur at 21:15 hrs the next day.

- 01044 Weekly Special will leave Samastipur at 23.20 hrs every Friday from 05.04.2024 to 28.06.2024 (13 trips) and will arrive at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 07.40 hrs on the third day.

Halts: Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Pipariya, Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn, Buxar, Ara, Danapur, Patliputra, Hajipur, and Muzaffarpur.

- 01045 AC Weekly Special will depart from the Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 12:15 hrs every Tuesday from April 9 to July 2 (13 trips) and will arrive at Prayagraj at 11:00 hrs the next day.

- 01046 AC Weekly Special will depart from Prayagraj at 18:50 hrs every Wednesday from April 10 to July 3 (13 trips) and will arrive at the Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 16:05 hrs the next day.

Halts: Kalyan, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Pipariya, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, and Manikpur.  

Composition: One AC First Class, Three AC-2 Tier, 15 AC-3 Tier, 1 Hot Buffet Car, and 1 Generator Car.

LTT-Gorakhpur Weekly Special (26 trips)

- 01123 Weekly Special will leave the Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 12:15 hrs every Friday from April 5 to June 28 (13 trips) and will arrive at Gorakhpur at 18:55 hrs the next day.

- 01124 Weekly Special will leave Gorakhpur at 21:15 hrs every Saturday from April 6 to June 29 (13 trips) and will arrive at the Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 07:25 hrs the third day.

Halts: Thane Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi, Orai, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Gonda, and Basti.

Composition: Two AC-2 Tier, 6 AC-3 Tier, 8 Sleeper Class, 3 Second Seating Chair Car, 1 Guard’s brake van, and 1 Generator Car.

Summer Special Trains 2024: Booking Details

Summer special trains (Nos. 01053, 01409, 01403, 01045, and 01123) will operate at special rates. Booking for these trains will commence on March 30 at all computerised reservation centres and on the website, www.irctc.co.in.
