To meet the travel demand and convenience of passengers, Indian Railways' Western Railway Zone has decided to restore the services of the August Kranti Rajdhani Express Special train.

In a release issued by Western Railway, it was mentioned that Train No 02953 Mumbai Central – H. Nizammudin August Kranti Rajdhani Express Special will be restored from 3 July. Similarly, Train No 02954 H. Nizammudin - Mumbai Central – August Kranti Rajdhani Express Special will be restored from 4 July.

www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in. Passengers having confirmed tickets will be permitted to board these special trains. Passengers are requested by Western Railway, to adhere to all norms, SOPs related to COVID-19 during boarding, travelling and at the destination.

In a separate release, Western Railway mentioned that it has decided to run one trip each of special train on special fare between Udhna and Khurda Rd. 

In the release it was mentioned, Train No. 08586 Udhna – Khurda Road Superfast Special will depart Udhna o¬n July 7, 2021 at 06.00 hrs and will reach Khurda Road at 15.40 hrs the next day.  

Similarly, Train No. 08585 Khurda Road – Udhna Superfast Special will depart from Khurda Road at 20:30hrs o¬n July 5, 2021 and will arrive Udhna at 03.40 hrs on 7 July 2021.  

Enroute this train will halt at Nandurbar, Jalgaon Jn., Bhusaval Jn., Akola Jn., Badnera Jn., Nagpur, Gondia Jn., Durg, Raipur Jn., Mahasamund, Khariar Road, Kantabanji, Titlagarh, Kesinga, Rayagada, Parvatipurm Town, Bobbili Jn., Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa and Brahmapur station in both directions.  

This train comprises of 1st AC, AC 2-Tier, AC 3- Tier, Sleeper class and Second-Class Seating coaches. 

The booking of Train No 08586 will open from July 4, 2021 at nominated PRS counters and on IRCTC website. The above train will run as fully reserved train.
