RRC North Eastern Railway Result 2020: The Railway Recruitment Cell of the North Eastern Railway has announced results for recruitment for apprenticeship. The results are related to the Apprentice Training Notification 2019-20. All those candidates who applied for the examination can check the result on the official website of the North Eastern Railway - ner.indianrailways.gov.in.

The verification of documents of the candidates who applied for the examination has already been done between February 12 and 16. The North Eastern Railway has reserved 10 per cent positions for the candidates from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS).

The candidates who have passed the exam and have their names in the list of successful candidates have to appear at the office of Principal Chief Personal Office of the Eastern Railway in Gorakhpur on 26 June by 10 am. The successful candidates are required to appear at the given time, failing which they may not secure entry.

The candidates are required to carry print out of their online application form high School mark sheet, ITI certificate, Medical fitness certificate from the authorised medical officer, valid photo ID, latest photograph, caste certificate, disability certificate (in case of specially abled persons), original and photo copy of service certificate with him. The final selection of the candidate will be based on the merit. The merit will be decided on the basis of candidate’s high school marks.

Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) has delegated the powers of recruitment to Group 'D' posts to the General Managers. In pursuance to this, Railway Recruitment Cell was opened in Western Railway. The Railway Recruitment Cell has been entrusted with the responsibility to make recruitment to all Group 'D' posts from open market.

North Eastern Railway came into existence on 14th April 1952, when two complete Railway Systems viz. Oudh Tirhoot Railway & Assam Railway and Fatehgarh District of BB & CI Railway were merged into one system and was inaugurated by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru. It stretched from Achnera near Agra in the West to Ledo near the border of West Bengal in the East.
