RRB Exam 2020 date: Railway recruitment exams from December 15; schedules of NTPC, Group D and other exams still awaited
RRB Exam 2020 date: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will start conducting exams for various posts from December 15. RRB will begin releasing admit cards and examination centres for these exams from December 5. The exams to fill vacancies in ministerial and isolated categories of Railways are scheduled from December 15.

The schedule of RRB-NTPC, Level 1, and RRB-Group D are yet to be released. Lakhs of candidates who had applied for Railways NTPC exam and Group D recruitment are anxiously waiting for schedule of RRB Exam 2020. It is expected that RRB will release the schedule and time table of NTPC and Group D exams by the end of this month.
Earlier, RRB Allahabad chairman RA Jamali had told that NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Category) exams will be conducted soon after ministerial and isolated categories exams. RRB has decided to conduct ministerial and isolated categories exams from December 15. However, the board had earlier announced that NTPC exams will also start from December 15. Now, it has decided to conduct NTPC exams post ministerial and isolated categories exams.
RRBs may release the free travel authority for candidates belonging to SC, ST category who have opted for free rail travel facility.
Meanwhile, Railways has received 2.40 lakh applications against 1.4 lakh vacancies for RRB NTPC, Ministerial and RRB Group D posts.
Admit cards for the RRB exam 2020 will be released from December 5 onwards, while the candidates will be intimated about the exam date and city details 10 days before the exam.

The holding of RRB Exam 2020 is a mammoth task and involves huge numbers. In fact, as many as 1,663 vacancies are to be filled under RRB exams for Ministerial and Isolated Category from December 15 to 23. Indian Railways has received more than 1.2 crore applications against 35,208 vacancies for the RRB NTPC exam. and as far as RRB Group D exam is concerned, a total of 1,15,67,248 applications have been registered against 1,03,769 posts.
