Railways increases online ticket booking limit through IRCTC website-app, Check details
The Indian Railways on Monday announced that the limit of booking online tickets through the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) website and the app have been increased.
IRCTC Ticket Booking Update: For the convenience of passengers, the Indian Railways on Monday announced that the limit of booking online tickets through the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) website and the app have been increased. This facility is available for both types of passengers - whose accounts are linked with Aadhar card and those whose accounts are not linked with Aadhaar card.
Under this facility, IRCTC has decided to increase the ticket booking limit from 6 to 12 in a month for those users whose account is not linked with Aadhaar. This will make it easier for them to travel more. Whereas, users whose IRCTC account is linked to Aadhaar can book a total of 24 tickets instead of 12 in a month, according to IRCTC.

How to link IRCTC account with your Aadhaar
Step 1: Visit the official website of IRCTC - http://irctc.co.in.
Step 2: Login to your account.
Step 3: Click on 'Link Your Aadhaar' in the 'My Account' option available on the home page.
Step 4: Enter the required information such as name, Aadhaar number and virtual ID.
Step 5: Go to the check box and select the option of 'Send OTP'.
Step 6: After this, OTP will be received on your registered mobile number, which you have to enter and select Verify OTP.
Step 7: The KYC is completed. Your Aadhaar will be linked with the IRCTC account.
Step 8: After this, you will also get the confirmation link on the screen.
Step 9: Now you have to log out and log in again on the IRCTC website.
Note: To check your Aadhaar, and KYC status, click on Link Your Aadhar link through the My Account option on the IRCTC website.
