The Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express train is all set for its inaugural run after the successful completion of two trial runs. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the Vande Bharat Express train via video conferencing on June 27.

Two successful trials were conducted for the Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express before the flagging off of the train. According to the East Central Railway, the first trial run was completed on June 12 and the second trial run from Patna was extended beyond Ranchi till Hatia.

 

Mumbai-Goa, Bengaluru-Hubballi-Dharwad, Patna-Ranchi, Bhopal-Indore, and Bhopal-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express trains on June 27.

Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express Schedule

According to reports, the train will run six days a week except Tuesday. It will leave Patna Junction at 7 a.m. and reach Ranchi station by 1 p.m., and after that, it will reach Hatia station by 1:20 p.m. While returning, it will leave Hatia at 3:55 p.m., reach Ranchi station by 4:15 p.m., and reach the last destination— Patna Junction, by 10:10 p.m.

Duration of the Journey

The Vande Bharat Express will take six and a half hours to cover the route of Patna-Ranchi-Hatia. The total distance of the journey is 385 kilometres. Reportedly, the average speed of the train will be 61 kmph.

Halts in the Journey

The train will have 5 halts while travelling from the initial station to the destination. Gaya-Barkakana-Hazaribagh- Jehanabad-Koderma stations will be halts for the train. The 27-kilometer stretch between Sidhwar and Sanki has four tunnels to pass through.

Ticket Fare

The Fare for trains has not been declared yet; however, the possible fare for Vande Bharat is said to be Rs 2174 (if catering is included) and Rs 1245 (catering is included) for the general coach. The final announcement regarding the fare is awaited.
