1. Train No. 05797: New Jalpaiguri-Malda Town Passenger Special (Cancelled on 17th and 18th June)
2. Train No. 05796: Malda Town-New Jalpaiguri Passenger Special (Cancelled on 17th June)
3. Train No. 05798: Malda Town-New Jalpaiguri Passenger Special (Cancelled on 18th and 19th June)
4. Train No. 15709: Malda Town-New Jalpaiguri Express (Cancelled on 17th June)
5. Train No. 15710: New Jalpaiguri-Malda Town Express (Cancelled on 18th June)
Kanchanjunga Express Accident: Diverted Trains
Eight trains have been rerouted via New Jalpaiguri-Siliguri-Bagdogra-Aluabari Road:
1. Train No. 12346: Guwahati - Howrah Saraighat Express
2. Train No. 12510: Guwahati - SMVT Bengaluru Express
3. Train No. 22302: New Jalpaiguri - Howrah Vande Bharat Express
4. Train No. 22504: Dibrugarh-Kanyakumari Express
5. Train No. 15620: Kamakhya - Gaya Express
6. Train No. 15962: Dibrugarh-Howrah Kamrup Express
7. Train No. 13148: Bamanhat - Sealdah Uttar Banga Express
8. Train No. 15930: New Tinsukia - Tambaram Express
Kanchanjunga Express Accident: Relief and Rescue Operations
Rescue and disaster management teams have detached the affected coaches from the main train, which has been sent to its destination, Sealdah, with the unaffected coaches. Debris from the adjacent rail track is being cleared, with JCB machines deployed for the task. Railway officials anticipate that train traffic on this route will return to normal once the track is cleared.
Kanchanjunga Express Accident: Compensation Announcements
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced on Twitter that ex-gratia compensation will be provided: Rs 10 lakh for each death, Rs 2.5 lakh for serious injuries, and Rs 50,000 for minor injuries.
"Enhanced ex-gratia compensation will be provided to the victims; ₹10 Lakh in case of death, ₹2.5 Lakh towards grievous and ₹50,000 for minor injuries," Vaishnav tweeted,

The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) also announced financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh to the families of the deceased and Rs 50,000 to the injured from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund.
