IRCTC: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced the launch of "Navratri Special Train Tour Package" for Vaishno Devi with Bharat Guarav Rake, a newly launched special tourist train in the festive period of Navratri. The Navratri special train will commence its maiden run for Katra on September 30.
The IRCTC announced a package of four nights and five days, including a two-night stay at Katra, at an overall cost starting from Rs 11,990 per person on a double-occupancy basis.
This special AC tour train package shall commence from Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station having 11, Three-Tier AC Coaches which can accommodate in total 600 tourists in one fixed departure.
The tourist train is fitted with a pantry car, infotainment system, CCTV camera and security guard services shall also be available on board.
As per the official release, passengers of Ghaziabad, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur, Ambala, Sirhind, Ludhiana can avail this special train tour package.
To facilitate tourists with an easy EMI payment option, IRCTC has also tied up with payment gateways like Paytm and Razorpay.
The all-inclusive package price covers train journey in 3 AC class, night stay in AC hotels, all meals (only vegetarian), all transfer and sightseeing in buses, travel insurance and services of guide, etc.
All necessary health precautionary measures will be taken care of by providing safe and healthy travel during the tour. For all guests of the age of 18 years and above, COVID-19 final vaccination is mandatory.
Bharat Gaurav Train is a newly launched product of the Ministry of Railways.
IRCTC has a mandate to operate the Bharat Gaurav train on routes of touristic importance in the country to promote theme-based tourism.
The IRCTC Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train, which consists of 14 Three-AC coaches, has undergone full-scale refurbishment at the Alambagh Coach Factory at Lucknow, and it now boasts of some of the best in class amenities and services including aesthetically designed interiors to ensure the utmost comfort of the passengers, the official press release said.
