No additional service charge will be required for IRCTC Authorized Food On Track Service.

As per the latest developments, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is in talks to various state governments regarding the project of building budget hotels and proposals have been sent to respective state governments. The Company has set a provision of 500 crores in the first phase of the project.

The Project of Budget Hotel is in advanced stage at Kohima and has been nearly completed already since the project had started earlier whereas the project in Khajuraho is expected to be completed by this year end or January 2023.
