Indian Railways announces Ganpati special trains ahead of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival; here’s the full list

As India prepares for a late festive season this year, Indian Railways has announced a string of special trains and additional services in anticipation of a surge in passenger traffic on select routes.
Here’s a list of key announcements by various arms of Indian Railways ahead of the festive season:
Konkan Railways
The Konkan Railways, whose 741-kilometre –long route connects the coastal districts of Maharashtra, Goa and Karnataka, has announced two special trains focused on the Ganesh Chaturthi festival:
Train Nos. 01153 and 01154 (to and fro) running between the Diva Junction and Ratnagiri railway stations in Maharashtra
Train Nos. 01155 and 01156 (to and fro) between the Jiva Junction and Chiplun railway stations in Maharashtra
While the Diva Junction-Ratnagiri Ganpati special service will halt at the Panvel, Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Sape Wamne, Karanjadi, Kheed, Anjani, Chiplun, Sawarda, Aravali Road and Sangameshwar Road stations, the Diva Junction-Chiplun trains will halt at Panvel, Pen, Roha, Kolad, Indapur, Mangaon, Goregaon Road, Veer, Sape, Wamne, Karanjadi, Vinhere, Diwankhavati, Kalambani Budruk, Kheed and Anjani.

The Konkan Railways Corp has also extended the weekly superfast services of trains 02198 and 02197 running between Jabalpur Junction and Coimbatore Junction stations in Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, respectively:
The Central Railway and the Western Railway, two of the several zones served by the Indian Railways, have announced hundreds of special trains ahead of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival, which typically leads to a significant spike in the number of passengers, especially in Mumbai.
