Indian Railways cancelled trains today list, October 17, IRCTC refund: Indian Railways passengers alert! Passengers intending to travel today should check the status of their booked train tickets before embarking on the journey. Indian Railways has cancelled over 150 trains including Mail, Express, Super-Fast today, October 17. The national transporter has fully cancelled 159 trains today, October 17, due to several reasons including Ekta Nagar to Ahmedabad Janshatabdhi express.  

Besides, Indian Railways has also source-changed 27 trains and shortly-terminated 28 trains. A total of 24 trains have been rescheduled including Pune to Howrah Duranto Express, Pune to Santragachi Humsafar Express. Bandra Terminus to Gorakhpur Humsafar Express and 17 other trains have also been diverted.

IRCTC Cancelled Ticket Refund Rule 

Indian Railways passengers who have booked tickets in these trains need not to worry about the refund as they are entitled to full refund from IRCTC. Online tickets or tickets booked via IRCTC are cancelled automatically and a refund is generated to the source account. Passengers having counter tickets need to visit the reservation centre to claim the refund.
