Indian Railways cancels 225 trains, reschedules Duranto Express; check IRCTC refund rule

Indian Railways cancelled trains today list, October 5: The Indian Railways has cancelled over 225 trains today, Wednesday , October 5. Also, the national transporter has source-changed 18 trains and shortly-terminated 18 trains. 

As many as 10 trains have been rescheduled, including Howrah to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Duranto Express. Also, as many as 15 trains are diverted.   

IRCTC Refund Rule 

Passengers who have booked tickets in these trains, now cancelled, will get a refund in full.

Those who have booked ticket(s) via IRCTC website will get the booking amount refunded directly into the account from which the money was debited at the time of booking.

Those having a counter ticket will have to visit the reservation centre to claim the refund.
