Previously capped at a 20-kilometer threshold, the maximum distance limit for booking general tickets through the UTS mobile app has been obliterated. This groundbreaking revision empowers passengers to book general tickets online from any location, liberating them from the constraints of proximity to station platforms.

Minimum geo-facing distance remains

While the overhaul expands accessibility for ticket booking, it's essential to note that the minimum distance of Geo Facing within the app remains unaltered. Consequently, passengers are still unable to procure general tickets online from within train compartments or directly on station platforms.
