Indian Railways cancels 117 trains; Howrah Duranto Express rescheduled: Know how to claim full refund from IRCTC
Indian Railways cancelled trains today list, October 6: All the online tickets booked via IRCTC website will stand cancelled automatically and a refund will be initiated.
Indian Railways cancelled trains today list, October 6: As many as 117 trains including Express, Mail, Passenger have been cancelled today, October 6, due to various reasons by the Indian Railways. The national transporter has also source-changed 29 trains and shortly-terminated 28 trains. A total of 6 trains have been rescheduled including Howrah-Pune Duranto Express. Besides, 15 trains have been diverted.
As per the IRCTC refund rule, passengers will get refund in full as the trains have been cancelled, rescheduled and diverted by the Indian Railways.
All the online tickets booked via IRCTC website will stand cancelled automatically and a refund will be initiated.
The refund is processed within 5 to 7 working days and the amount credited into the source account.
Passengers who have booked counter tickets need to visit the railway reservation centre to claim the refund.
