Indian Railways to get new divyang-friendly signage system: Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav
The ministry statement said that the booklet on Standard Signages at Stations on Indian Railways prioritises simple language, clear font, easy-to-see colours, and intuitive pictograms. It is made keeping in mind the requirements of all passengers, including the elderly, women, children, and divyangjan.
Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw informed that the Indian Railways will have a new signage system on the basis of colour, font and the use of pictograms for the ease of passengers. He shared this while releasing a booklet containing details of the project on Monday.
