To ensure the safety of the crowd, the Rail Ministry announced that trains passing through Sikandra Rao Station would not exceed a speed of 15 kilometers per hour. Special provisions have been made to accommodate the affected individuals.

Special train arrangements

In light of the situation, the Railways have arranged additional stoppages for several trains at Sikandra Rao Station. These include the Mathura-Tanakpur Special Train, Agra Fort-Kasganj Passenger Special Train, and the Bandra Terminus Antyodaya Express. Similar arrangements have been made at other stations along this route to manage the large number of passengers effectively.

A senior Railway Board official stated, "Senior Divisional Commercial Manager and Senior Divisional Security Commissioner, along with other officials, are present at the scene to manage the situation."

Medical team deployed on-site

The Ministry released a statement on Tuesday night confirming that a team of doctors, led by Dr. Saurabh Dandiyal, has been deployed to provide first aid and other necessary medical assistance to those in need. Additionally, food and water packets are being distributed to all the people waiting at the station.

Additional Resources on Standby

The Ministry further stated, "We have three empty coaches ready at Kasganj Station, which can be sent as a special train to Sikandra Rao Station if required."

These measures aim to ensure the safety and well-being of the devotees returning home after the unfortunate stampede incident.
