Ganesh Chaturthi Special Trains: The Indian Railways will operate 342 special trains in Maharashtra during the Ganesh festival, Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced on Thursday.
The special trains will be operated to cater to additional demand during the festival.
There was demand for about 300 special trains for the occasion but the railway department will operate 342 trains, said the Union Minister.
India is set to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi next month.
