Diwali, Chhath Puja Special Trains: With the upcoming festivals of Diwali and Chhath Puja, the demand for train tickets has surged. Most reserved seats are already booked, and there is a long waiting list. To manage this high demand, the Railways has decided to run special festival trains to reduce the extra rush. Here are the details:

Festival Special Train Services 

Central Railway has announced 96 special train services to accommodate the extra rush of passengers during Diwali and Chhath Puja. Bookings will start on Friday, September 6.

Train Details:

1. LTT-Danapur Daily Special (42 services) 
   - 01143: Departs LTT Mumbai at 10:30 hrs daily from 22.10.2024 to 11.11.2024, arriving at Danapur at 18:45 hrs the next day. (21 services)  
   - 01144: Departs Danapur at 21:30 hrs daily from 23.10.2024 to 12.11.2024, arriving at LTT Mumbai at 04:50 hrs on the third day. (21 services)  
   - Stops: Thane, Kalyan, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chhivki, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar, Arrah.  
   - Composition: 2 AC-III Tier, 8 Sleeper Class, 8 Second Class, including 2 Guard Brake Vans (18 ICF coaches).

2. CSMT-Asansol Weekly Special (8 services)
   - 01145: Departs CSMT Mumbai at 11:05 hrs every Monday from 21.10.2024 to 11.11.2024, arriving at Asansol at 02:30 hrs on the third day. (4 services)  
   - 01146: Departs Asansol at 21:00 hrs every Wednesday from 23.10.2024 to 13.11.2024, arriving at CSMT Mumbai at 08:15 hrs on the third day. (4 services)  
   - Stops: Dadar, Kalyan, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Satna, Prayagraj Chhivki, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Sasaram, Deoria Sadar, Gaya, Koderma, NSC Bose J Gomo, Dhanbad, Kulti.  
   - Composition: 2 AC-III Tier, 8 Sleeper Class, 8 Second Class, including 2 Guard Brake Vans (18 ICF coaches).

3. CSMT-Gorakhpur Daily Special (42 services)
   - 01079: Departs CSMT Mumbai at 22:30 hrs daily from 22.10.2024 to 11.11.2024, arriving at Gorakhpur at 08:20 hrs on the third day. (21 services)  
   - 01080: Departs Gorakhpur at 14:30 hrs daily from 24.10.2024 to 13.11.2024, arriving at CSMT Mumbai at 00:40 hrs on the third day. (21 services)  
   - Stops: Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Nashik Road, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi, Orai, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Gonda, Basti, Khalilabad.  
   - Composition: 2 AC-III Tier, 8 Sleeper Class, 8 Second Class, including 2 Guard Brake Vans (18 ICF coaches).

4. LTT-Santragachhi Weekly Special (4 services)
   - 01107: Departs LTT Mumbai at 20:15 hrs on Tuesdays, 29.10.2024 and 05.11.2024, arriving at Santragachhi at 05:00 hrs on the third day. (2 services)  
   - 01108: Departs Santragachhi at 15:50 hrs on Thursdays, 31.10.2024 and 07.11.2024, arriving at LTT Mumbai at 23:45 hrs the next day. (2 services)  
   - Stops: Thane, Kalyan, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Akola, Badnera, Nagpur, Gondia, Durg, Raipur, Bilaspur, Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Chakradharpur, Tatanagar, Kharagpur.  
   - Composition: 1 AC First Class, 3 AC-II Tier, 15 AC-III Tier, 1 Pantry Car, 2 Generator Vans (22 LHB coaches).
