New Delhi-Varanasi Vande Bharat semi-high-speed train halted near Etawah due to technical problem
Due to this technical fault, Anand Vihar Ayodhya train has also been stopped on the down track of Bharthana Railway Station. The Shatabdi Express train which was going to Kanpur from New Delhi has been stopped at Etawah railway station.
A semi-high-speed Vande Bharat Express which was going to Varanasi from Delhi stopped near Etawah on Monday morning due to a technical problem in the engine.
The train no 22436 departs from Delhi at 6 AM and arrives in Varanasi at 2.05 PM the same day.
The train has been standing on the down track between Bharthana Railway Station and Samhon Railway Station for about one hour. However, the Vande Bharat technical team is continuously working to fix the issue.
BJP's Rajya Sabha MP Geeta Shakya is also travelling in this train.
Due to this, Anand Vihar Ayodhya train has also been stopped on the down track of Bharthana Railway Station. The Shatabdi Express train going from New Delhi to Kanpur has been stopped at Etawah railway station.
The team is preparing to install another engine in the train to bring it back to Bharthana Railway Station.
