Dr. Vikas Kumar, the Managing Director of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), spearheaded a comprehensive inspection today, delving into various sites along the Janakpuri West - RK Ashram Marg corridor of the much-anticipated Phase 4 project. His meticulous review encompassed the under-construction stretch from Mukarba Chowk to Madhuban Chowk in Pitampura, alongside scrutiny of the Krishna Park Extension station and the Mukundpur depot.
The bustling inspection revealed a commendable pace in the construction endeavors along the corridor. Impressively, approximately 55 percent of the civil work has already reached completion, signaling significant progress in the project's timeline.
Spanning an expansive length of 29.26 kilometers, the Janakpuri West - RK Ashram Marg corridor boasts 22 strategically positioned stations. As Dr. Vikas Kumar traversed the construction sites, he underscored the vital role this corridor will play in bolstering Delhi's public transportation infrastructure, easing commuter congestion, and enhancing connectivity across key areas of the capital.
