Ara-Sasaram-Ranchi express train news: Good news for passengers! Train to run 3 days a week - check route, time table, running status

Ara-Sasaram-Ranchi Express Train News, Route, Time Table: Indian Railways has decided to increase the frequency of the Ara-Sasaram-Ranchi Express train. The train will now run 3 days a week between Ara Junction and Ranchi Junction. Earlier, Ara-Sasaram to Ranchi Express was a weekly train.

Ranchi Ara Express News

Ara-Sasaram-Ranchi Express will originate from Ara Junction every Sunday, Tuesday and Friday. It will reach Ranchi Junction on the same day. 

On its return journey, Ranchi to Sasaram-Ara Express will depart from Ranchi Junction on every Monday, Thursday and Saturday. It will reach Ara next morning.

Ara Ranchi Rxpress Route

The train made its inaugural run on March 1, 2019. It runs between Ara Junction and Ranchi Junction. Between Ara and Ranchi, the train halts at Sasaram Junction, Anugraha Narayan Road railway station, Gaya Junction, Koderma Junction, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Junction Gomoh, Bokaro Steel City and Muri Junction.

Ranchi Ara Express Time Table

18639 Ara Ranchi Express will depart from Ara Junction at 9:30 AM. It will arrive at Sasaram Junction at 11:40 AM. After loco reversal at Sasaram Junction, the train will resume its jouney at 12. It will arrive at Anugraha Narayan Road railway station at 12:36 PM. It will then halt at Gaya Junction at 2:10 PM. The next stoppage will be at Koderma Junction at 3:18 PM. At 4:22 PM, the train will stop at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Junction Gomoh. Before arriving at the destination station -- Ranchi Junction at 8:10 PM, the train will stop at Bokaro Steel City at 5:50 PM and Muri Junction at 6:50 PM.

18640 Ranchi Ara Express will start from Ranchu Junction at 9:05 PM. It will next stop at Muri Junction at 10:10 PM and Bokaro Steel City at 11:15 PM. The train will arrive at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Junction Gomoh at 12:20 AM. At 1:24 AM, the train will halt at Koderma Junction and then at Gaya Junction at 3:03 AM. It will stop at Anugraha Narayan Road railway station at 3:55 AM. It will arrive at Sasaram Junction at 4:40 AM. After loco reversal at Sasaram Junction, the will depart at 5 AM. It will terminate at Ara Junction at 7:25 AM.

The train has 5 Sleeper coaches, one 3A coach, one 2A coah and 5 general coaches.
