Acting on the call given by Joint Council of Action (JAC), the railway council will take out rallies and observe sit-ins seeking attention of the government.

The rallies and sit-ins will be observed during Lunch break of the Budget Session. This will be joined by all branches of the Northern Railway. Their demands are related to recent laws introduced or passed by the cabinet and Parliament that ignored their suggestions.
As the railway employees plan to observe sit-ins on Monday, we list out the demands and claims of the Northern Railway Men's Union:
* They are demanding to take back recent Labour codes
* 'Anomalies' related to 7th Pay Commission and MACP-related problems
*Against New National Pension Policy
* Against the government's decision to held back Dearness Allowance payable from January 1, 2021
*Against misuse of fr-5 (1) to exploit government employees
*Against privatization/ incorporation of Railways
*Against ignoring employees' suggestion in pre-budget discussion.
