Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president BS Yeddyurappa and BJP MLAs arrived at Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru on Thursday. The Karnataka government will be facing a floor test today. Congress leader Siddaramaiah also arrived at Vidhana Soudha ahead of the floor test. While speaking to media persons, Yeddyurappa said, “We are 101 per cent confident. They are less than 100, we are 105. There is no doubt that their motion will be defeated.” Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy arrived at Vidhana Soudha as his government will be facing floor test there. The 13-month-old Congress-JDS government had slumped into crisis after these MLAs resigned from the membership of the Assembly earlier this month. The state Assembly has 225 members, including one nominated MLA. The halfway mark in the 225-member Assembly is 113.
