Why Hathras Is Called Color Capital Of India?

Braj province falls on the western end of Uttar Pradesh & Hathras is a small district in Braj province. That Hathras which we can also call 'The Color Capital of India.' Do you know why? Because in India, which has a population of 140 crores, a large part of the colors and gulal used for Holi are made here. There are 8 to 10 big factories in Hathras in which colors and gulal are made and are exported not only to India but all over the world.
