This man from Aligarh went a step forward to conserve water

Meet Rinku Sharma from Aligarh, who went a step forward to conserve water. He dug up around a dozen ponds in villages of Chandaus block in Aligarh to conserve water. He started this initiative around 8-9 years ago when groundwater level decreased continuously in the area. With this initiative, the groundwater level has increased. Indeed, Rinku Sharma is an inspiration for the younger generation. While speaking to ANI on the initiative, Rinku Sharma said, "We started this about 8-9 years ago as groundwater level was decreasing continuously. Now people come to us seeking help and groundwater level has increased in the area."
