Tamil Nadu Floods: Thoothukudi Submerged After Heavy Rains, Relief Efforts Underway

Heavy rains have wreaked havoc in Thoothukudi, southern Tamil Nadu, causing widespread waterlogging and disrupting daily life. Roads and fields in the Eral area are submerged, leaving residents struggling in the aftermath. In response, the Indian Navy has stepped up relief efforts, distributing food and essential supplies at the Srivaikundam railway station. The State government and the Centre are working together on a large-scale rescue and relief operation to assist those affected.
