Over 5 flights to Delhi airport diverted due to poor visibility

A dense layer of fog engulfed national capital on January 22. Delhi is recording a minimum temperature of 7 degree Celsius today. Due to fog and poor visibility over five flights to Delhi airport were diverted on Wednesday. According to airport official, one of the captains was not trained to land under CAT III (low visibility) conditions. Three flights from Riyadh, Kuwait and Bangkok are delayed and two flights from Kabul and Bahrain flights were diverted.
