New Guidelines over Social Media, OTT Platforms to be implemented within 3 months

In a major development, the Modi government on Thursday announced new guidelines to prevent misuse of social media platforms. Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said, "Concerns have increased about the misuse of social media platforms and the spread of fake news."
