This is an important development for those making calls from landlines to mobile phones! From January 15, 2021, the way of calling from any landline phone to a mobile number has changed completely. The Department of Telecom (DoT) has implemented a new system. Under this system, callers will be required to add '0' prefix for making calls from landlines to mobile phones. This will allow telecom service provider companies to create more numbers.
