Jharkhand Government To Launch Widow Remarriage Promotion Scheme

Secretary of Women & Children, and Social Welfare Department, Manoj Kumar, discusses the upcoming launch of the Widow Remarriage Promotion Scheme by the Jharkhand Government. The scheme aims to empower widows by providing financial support and encouraging remarriage within one year. Widows can apply with their marriage registration certificate, and upon approval, receive Rs 2 Lakhs in their account to support their transition into mainstream society.
