India will emerge as defence manufacturing hub in coming years: Rajnath Singh

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on February 05 attended the Defence Expo 2020 with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. While addressing the gathering, he said that the government wants to make India a “defence manufacturing hub”. He also emphasised that the expo aims to bring the leading technologies in the defence sector under one roof and provide a myriad of opportunities for private manufactures, government and startups. The event is scheduled to be held from 5-9 February in Lucknow.
