India 360: Union Minister Approves New IT Rules; Preliminary Action Will Be Necessary Within 72 Hrs

Today the Union Minister has approved the new IT rules. According to the new rules, Preliminary action will be required on complaints within 72 hours. There will be a deadline of 15 days for other types of complaints. The companies will be responsible for the content on social media. Companies must ensure that only correct and legitimate content is published. Pornographic, child sexual abuse content should not be uploaded. Companies have to stop content that encourages money laundering. Content spreading virus/spam will also be banned. Watch this special report on India 360.
