India 360: E-commerce Firms To Face Heavy Penalty For Posting Fake Reviews, Centre To Issue Guidelines Soon

Government came into action to curb fake reviews. Now strict fines will be imposed against companies that pay for positive reviews and five star ratings. Action will also be taken against companies for getting fake reviews done of rival entities. Companies doing this willfully will be fined Rs 10 to 50 lakh.
