Government Publishes Drafts Digital Personal Data Protection Bill For Public Views

The government has released the draft of the Digital Personal Data Protection Bill, 2022. Provision has been made for penalty of up to Rs 250 crore for misuse of data. Suggestions and objections have been sought from all stakeholders. The government can introduce the Digital Personal Data Protection Bill, 2022 in the budget session.
