Government Launches Online Portal for Citizenship Applications
The online portal to submit applications for Indian citizenship under the Citizenship (Amendment) Act 2019, went live on March 12. The Centre notified the rules of the contentious CAA before the enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
