Gold jewellery hallmarking to get mandatory from June 16, know full news story

Hallmarking on gold jewellery and related items will become mandatory from Thursday after the government extended the deadline to June 1 in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. As per the new guidelines, jewelers across India will now be allowed to sell only 14, 18 and 22 carat gold items.
